Koningskop Campsite is a treasured destination, nestled on a citrus and Rooibos tea farm in the Olifants river mountains near Citrusdal, Western Cape. We offer camping grounds and self-catering cottages complemented by breathtaking views, hiking trails, 4X4 routes and freshwater swimming pools. Our function venue is open to campers to enjoy rugby and pizza on a Saturday , if the venue is not booked for the weekend

Our variety of accommodation includes 2 self-catering cottages with braai areas and 50 grass-covered campsites.
Activities
Koningskop offers a variety of outdoor activities for the whole family, such as hiking, swimming, kayaking, 4×4 and bird watching. The mountain cycling trail is in progress, but the farm roads are open to cyclists.
Venue
Koningskop Lapa, with its beautiful thatched roof, is perfect for any function from work to party and is available for booking.

We have spend the past weekend there and it was an absolute great time! The ablutions are 1st class, the camping sites are great and the swimming facilities and dam adds to the relaxing atmosphere experienced. This is a place where kids can be kids again by running around care-free, rowing in the canoe and just enjoying themselves. The 4X4 route really challenges both driver and vehicle to their limits. The views over the campsite and the mountains are great and at the right time of day will make for good photography spots.
